For those of you who have been reading the Inheritance Trilogy. You know, Eragon and Eldest and such. I love those books, so I sketched out some doodles of what I think the dragons look like. Saphire came out a bit dopey. I actually pictuered her to be a bit more...feminine. You know, like a more narrow beak, but I guess I was influenced by the cover. I'm sure you can tell that Glaedr was strongly influenced by the gold D&D dragons, but I've always loved their noble, tentacly look. And then I sketched out Shruikan although none of the books have gotten to him yet. I love him the bestest. I would have drawn Thorn but I had no idea he'd make an appearance. Oops, I hope that wasn't a spoiler...

Anyway, no touchy. The characters may belong to Paolini, but the drawings are still mine. Last time I posted dragony fanart, someone...yeah. You know. >:(

I must add these books to my 'must-read' list.... which is longer than Hwy 1.

Shruikan is a killer....

I've wanted to meet him for a long time now, and I pray that I'm not disappointed. Two books I've gone without him, and now the third one must bring him out....

But if he doesn't demolish Saphira, I'll be upset....he's about a century old, I believe, and thus that gives him a lot more experience than Saphira....

your Glaedr is simply awesome, he looks so regal. i always saw him a bit more serious than that, as i dont ever remember him smiling much, but you really hit his design on the head for me :D all of them look simply stunning! nice work :)

How beautiful. I looooooove dragons. these drwings are great, you're really good. (I suck at drawing dragons. Wish I could draw them as you do).
